The app also opens up whole new periods of time to read that was never socially acceptable to 'read' before. For example,sitting and reading while waiting between meetings. I would never be able to pull out a book when someone was running late to a professional meeting. However, having your phone out is socially acceptable - and those 10 minute chunks add up. Besides - when traveling or reading in bed, you no longer need a booklight! I have the exact same experience.
