		<description>Does a body of literature exist about the rightful place of academic libraries on the campus, authored by Academic Deans, Provosts, Presidents, and non-library faculty?  I am not talking about nostalgic looks backward by bibliophiles and publishers, but hard, current writing by academics.</description>
