I struggle myself with age stereotypes, not just with other people, but within myself. And as a quick tech example, a 12-year-old was just authoritatively telling me iTunes information that was completely wrong, and wouldn't believe that I would know what I'm talking about since I'm an old person of 30. To be fair, most of the adults in her life are not the most technologically literate, but still - she knows how to USE iTunes, but she doesn't understand the Apple proprietary DRM within it. So true!
